About The JRE

The Jeff Richey Experience or JRE (2013-2022) was a seasoned sextet of folk, jazz, and rock musicians who specialized in performing and recording original music in the central Kentucky region. Fans heard the influences of artists such as The Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Steely Dan, and Traffic in The JRE's eclectic sound. With ten studio albums and dozens of club, festival, and radio appearances to their credit, The JRE became a unique institution in the central Kentucky music scene.
